Guest Appearances

I was really excited to talk to The Grumps about how I don’t dig the Dude, and that Grandma’s Boy makes me laugh every time.

Femmes fatale, carnivals, and black berets!
I had a great time talking with Matthew Socey about one of my favorites,
GUN CRAZY (1950)
Starts around the 37 minute mark

The Boys of G&G had me back to GenXplain the Dorothy Stratten murder to Griff, and revel in the sleaze of a roller disco pajama party at the Playboy mansion

It was such a pleasure to discuss my love of Fade to Black with Mike at The Pod and the Pendulum - plus bonus talk of my former life in the sideshow, and my proudest moment: making a host blush without even being in the same room. Can't wait to do it again.

The fellas at Golan-Globus Theater let me join them to talk shit about the infamous Paul Lynde Halloween Special from 1976. I had so much fun GenX-plaining stuff to young Griff, plus Tim sang 'Beth' & changed it to 'Taff' (so now I think all songs should be modified to be about me). They even let me rant about my love of Showdown in Little Tokyo.

Paul Lynde hosting the hell out of the special, drowning the audience in a sea of laughter via zinger. The whole special is available here, and highly recommended! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCJ0D4pI0tI

I had been BURNING for literal decades to talk about my love of Fade to Black, so it was super fun to join Jennifer on Don’t Read the Latin!, where I was allowed to babble about Eric Binford. We also chatted about my favorite mermaid stripper musical (The Lure) our mutual love of classic film, and representation for Funny Goths.

Another great chat with my old friend Matt for Film Soceyology!
Starting around the 14 minute mark - we discussed the dearly departed Olivia de Havilland and my fave genre: Hagsploitation (aka Grand Dame Guignol). Plus: Guess how many leopard print coats Taffy has in her closet!

Talked about old times, my obsession with 007's footwear, Kurt Russell's fantastic hair, and more with my pal Matthew Socey for his film show, Film Soceyology on WFYI

Another Film Soceyology, when I chatted with Matthew about film adaptations of books, Tab Hunter, and drive-in movies.
