2012 - Couture Hand Embellishment

in 2012, Lily Verlaine commissioned me for a short-turnaround project for her engagements in Hong Kong. I had three days to complete it.

The glass beads were meticulously harvested from a vintage corset, and hand sewn to the bodice and matching panty. An elaborate scrollwork adorned the bustline, and 100 “flowers” in total covered the rest of the bodice and matching panty, highlighted by opalescent Swarovski crystals.
